Drupal Modules Reviews

Drupal has thousands of modules, and it's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of different modules available. A number of you might already know about Drupal Modules (http://drupalmodules.com/), but for you who doesn't, it's a community-powered site to rate and review Drupal modules (just as the name implies!). The ratings include Features, Realiability, Ease of Use and Documentation, they have quite an advanced search system that makes it easy to narrow down the modules and functionality one's interested in. If you're looking for a specific modules, or are just curious about what the most popular or used modules are, Drupal Modules is well worth a visit.

14 days with Drupal

A short comment on changing from Wordpress to Drupal..

I've been using Drupal for 14 days now after giving it a try instead of using Wordpress..  and I must say that I'm not regretting anything. Drupal is a robust and extremley scalable CMS. It's not, however, very easy to setup and maintain which might be daunting for some bloggers, however, give it some time and affection and it'll certainly grow on you; and it'll also grow with you!

For you who doesn't know what Drupal is and don't want a few hours worth of a lecture, you can get a basic idea in just 57 secs!

Drupal won!

So I did decided to change from Wordpress to Drupal over all.. quite a steep change, but I do believe it's for the best; even though I love Wordpress and I respect it very much, Drupal is more flexible and scalable. However, considering I don't know much PHP and have only rudimentary knowledge of HTML, it'll be interesting to see how it all pan out. But it'll be an interesting journey for sure! I love to experiment, and I believe in Drupal!
