Don't stop and stare!

It's been a troubling traffic situation this morning. First off, the northbound freeway just south of Helsingborg had a few miles of backlog due to landscaping. This in turn caused drivers to exit the freeway to detour through Helsingborg instead. I knew about this, and took an alternative route. But sure enough, with the increased traffic load and stressed out motorists, when I came to the first intersection just after the city border there's been an accident involving a car and a pedestrian who was crossing the road. The police was there, a firetruck was there, and there was an ambulance.. and there was also a large crowd of people pointing, chatting and doing nothing else than staring at the accident scene, What are they thinking about?! If you want to gawk at someone elses misfortune, if you want to stare at mangled body parts, go watch CSI or something. Stop being in the way for rescue services. Stop trying to explain else what happened even if you didn't see it happen and stop comment on things. Let the police and EMTs do their work. However, do not stop to stare! You're in everybody's way! Go about your business, and do not interfere. If you're so interested in knowning what happened, go read your local newspaper.
